The government bodies of the Department are: Head, Department Board and Department Committee.

The Head has  pro-tempore representation of the department and exercises the functions of planning and policy management.

The Head is assisted, in the management of the activities of the Department, by the Administrative Secretary, who is responsible for the Administrative Secretariat and coordinates the administration and accounting activities according to the Regulations for the administration, finance and accounting.
